YouTube is a HUGE resource for information about sex, especially queer sex. There are tons of great voices out there genuinely offering up their own experiences and knowledge to the world for the greater good. Check out these awesome channels that promote a healthy, safe, fun sex life and have a lot of awesomeness to offer for the inquisitive mind.
In this lovely video, Amber discloses the importance of pleasing your partner orally (if that is something they so desire). Communicating about sex is a super common topic on her channel and she has several videos meant to help us do it better. Her channel features videos on vaginal health, sex toys, relationships, and tips for a satisfying sex life!
"When you are with someone, their pleasure matters as much as yours. You should make them a priority as much as you want them to make you a priority. It should be EQUAL."
2. Ari Fitz
Here, Ari reflects on what she wished she would have known about queer sex before she experienced her first time. Ari is an androgynous, polyamorous, queer black woman who lets us in on her journey. Follow her channel as she explores sex, relationships, love, and gender expression on her channel.
"At any point if you don't want to have sex, don't have it. If anything, don't have it because I want you to have the best sex that you could have. And the best sex is when you really, really, fucking want that and when they really, really fucking want it too. That's the best kind of sex."
3. Ash Hardell
This super necessary video is all about group sex! Everything from A to Z with expert opinions and references, fabulous! I have followed Ash's channel for years and it has always been a very honest journey of personal discovery when it comes to sexuality and gender. Their videos encompass exploring labels, sex, gender non-conforming lingerie, and married life!
"Our society tends to have a very cis-het view of sex ... It's simple, it's familiar, and everyone/everything gets a counterpart its paired with. So, when you throw in another set of genitals or another human being with needs and desires for pleasure, people get real thrown off real quick."
This channel first began with its web series, Lipstick the Series. Since then, it has branched off into creating other types of content, including Lipstick Tea. The talk show discusses all things queer sex, love, relationships, and community. Check out the channel for awesome discussions about everything from LGBT dating apps to sexual turn offs.
"I got a lot of jobs, so when I'm done doing my jobs, I barely have time to relax. I might get three hours of sleep in one day ... You get it when you can. But then you know what, what I've learned? You do have to make time for what you want and what you need."
5. Stevie
Stevie is a queer sex educator who created this awesome series specifically catered to lesbians, appropriately named Lesbian Sex 101. Her channel is meant to be fun and help everyone learn how to have the best, healthiest, safest sex life they possibly can. She is proudly disabled and fierce in her mission to educate the LGBT masses.
"It is really easy to pick up on hints and clues as long as they're willing to give them to you. Listen to their breathing. Are they saying things? Are they giving you body clues? If they're breathing and moaning and then all of a sudden they stop completely because you changed something, that might be a hint that you should go back to the whatever you were doing before."
